Sight (series)
Sight series is a photographic investigation of perception and memory, inspired by an optic nerve scan of my own eyes. When I first saw my optic nerve, it felt both wondrous and otherworldly, a mysterious messenger of present and future vision. I use this binocular image as a scaffolding membrane to collect and layer imagery of the natural world, both familiar and newly discovered. The series reflects on shifting visions: those rooted in biology and those evoking an ever-changing sense of place.
