This work was created with the Explorers Program of the East End Special Players.  I began as a guest artist with this program in 2017. The East End Special Players is group of adults with varied abilities and skills that write and perform their own musical theater productions on Long Island's East End.

For this collaborative portrait project, we used a collection of silks given to me by dear friends from their travels and wanderings in India and China (thank you Ashok and Yaming).  We created simple sets with the fabrics and studio lights in the back corner of our meeting hall.  We played with the materials to match each individual’s preference for color and arrangement.  The conversations along the way in making these photographs are precious moments that continue to shape and inspire our interactions.
