Experiments in Optics
Experiments in Optics is an ongoing project exploring the behavior of light and the nature of reflectivity. This work evolved through a series of workshops and happenings with The East End Special Players, a theater and arts initiative for individuals with diverse abilities. We used prisms, magnifiers, and reflective mylar, shaping and morphing the reflectivity of our bodies within the natural environment. These layered compositions attempt to condense the energy, curiosity, and cinematic movement of these experiments into single frames.
