Experiments in Optics
Experiments in Optics is an ongoing project exploring the behavior of light and the nature of reflectivity. This work evolved through a series of workshops and happenings with The East End Special Players, a theater and arts initiative for individuals with diverse abilities. We used prisms, magnifiers, and reflective mylar, shaping and morphing the reflectivity of our bodies within the natural environment. These photographic compositions attempt to relay the energy, curiosity, and movement of these optical experiments by condensing the cinematic flow into single images.
