Sea to Sea (series)

Sea to Sea is a conversation about immigration and memory. The site is the Montauk Moorlands, a landscape rich in biodiversity and glacial legacies. My grandmother came from the small Greek island of Skopelos (known as the "green" island). She brought with her only a few ancestral linens. In this series, I stand at the edge of the eastern shore using my body and these linens, with the wind, sand, and sea, as a portal to connect back to her and the heritage she carried across the Atlantic.
